The Intermediate and Symphonic Band students will be playing at the 8th grade football game on Tuesday, October 29.   Longhorn Band students will need to be ready to warm-up and eat in the Lamar Band Hall at 4:30 PM.   We will depart by bus for Marcus HS Stadium at 5:00 and will perform for both football games.

Dress for the performance will be the band polo shirts with black pants, black shoes and black socks or a Halloween Costume.  Nacho Libre will be in attendance!  The only exception to this requirement are the 8th grade football players.

We strongly encourage parents to attend the game to hear this fantastic band perform.  However, if you do choose to attend, you will not be able to take your child home from Marcus Stadium.  All students will need to be picked up at Lamar Middle School after the game.  To receive full credit for the performance students must participate for the full length of the game.

Students will be given bottled water at the school and at the stadium.  We are also offering a Chik-fil-A sandwich for $2.50 each.  Students will eat at Lamar just before we depart for Marcus.  Your $2.50 cash or check must be in the black mail box by 3:00 PM , Monday, October 28.

Students who choose to opt out of the sandwich meal need to bring a sack lunch with them to eat before we leave Lamar.  Students will not be allowed to eat once we arrive at the stadium.  Please do not bring food, gum or candy into the stands while we are at the stadium.
