How to Join the Band
If you have reached this point in the process and have decided that band is right for you ... excellent! Just follow the steps below. We are very excited to welcome you to the Lamar Middle School Band.
- Select BAND as your #1 elective choice on your schedule sheet.
- Choose an instrument. Percussion* must also indicate a second choice.
- Get ready to enjoy all the GREAT opportunities waiting for you by joining the Lamar Band.
* Any student interested in percussion will be REQUIRED to attend a MANDATORY testing session in the Lamar Band Hall. Students who do not attend this session will NOT be considered for percussion.
