GoArts.org is live for 2011!

The Texas Coalition for Quality Arts Education (TCQAE) has begun updating GoArts.org with information about the 2011 legislative session. It will be their vehicle to communicate with you any activity at the capitol that may negatively affect arts education in our schools.

Alan Hanna, Director

Alan Hanna is in his ninth year as director of the Lamar Middle School Bands in Flower Mound, Texas. Mr. Hanna moved to Lamar from Frisco, Texas where he was director of bands at Pioneer Heritage Middle School. Mr. Hanna began teaching twelve years ago after graduating with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. Click here for more.
Danielle Aicher, Associate Director

Danielle Aicher is in her fourth year as the Associate Director of Bands at Lamar Middle School. She conducts the Lamar Concert Band and teaches the beginning flutes, oboes, bassoons, and saxophones. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Houston. Click here for more.
